***very rare hybrid. Back for its second year here! Compared to when it left in the spring, the bird has much more extensive white on its head. In my head, I was expecting the bird to be the same size as Brant, but it was noticeably bigger. A very confiding bird, stomping around the parking lot area and feeding with its brant friends
