*Rare; current influx of this species over the past week. With favorable winds for kites this past week I had my eyes on the sky all morning. I noticed the raptor activity heating up over/near the airfield as the morning temperature rose. First individual seen at 1054 flying northeast across the center of the airfield before I lost sight of it behind the tree line. Second individual seen at 1237 flying southeast low along the treeline off runway 34. Both individuals in adult plumage. Overall uniform gray body, long wings with district primary taper, and pale light gray head. Flight similar to accipiter but more graceful and less direct.
