Continuing. Calling male went right over our head at 4:51PM about 200 feet south of the Shagbark Hickory next to the road. Sounded like Type 2 to my ear. At 5:41, we found male and female feeding on the ground at the north end of the clearing area. They were on the ground about 18 minutes before flying off. I managed to get a recording of them calling when they took flight. Photos and audio to be uploaded later.
