Not an exact count but a huge flock of mixed scoters mostly black. Off the end of the beach towards the lighthouse. All black ducks with distinctive head profile. Yellow bill markings identifiable from a distance. Will upload poor quality photos EDIT: Changed count due to reviewing the video I took to reflect the positive IDs. The vast majority of these birds were black scoters with an admixture of surf and white-winged.
