Made several passes at the Bonaparte's gulls. Didn't really seem too motivated--maybe just looking for any weak or injured birds in the hopes of an easy meal. After a while he settled on the end of the North pier. He was roosting on something white and feathery. When he flew off I went out and found the wing of a Ring-billed gull. Perhaps a previous kill.
