Found earlier in the day by Joan Comeau and identified as a Marbled Godwit and posted as such on NSBS Facebook. The photo showed extensive white from the belly to the undertail so Sandra and I went to look with the intention of seeing it fly. The Willets helped us out and the tail pattern and diagnostic white V up the back confirmed it as a European race Bar-tailed Godwit. Diagnostic photos included.
