Fledged chick

Colony of nesting Saunders' terns feeding just fledged young. Photos of fledglings attached. Thirty adults and 6 fledged young counted at shoreline adjacent to flat, reclaimed coarse gravel/sandy land, nesting area. Lots of fox footprints so many of the chicks may have been predated.
