At one point, the DEJU, BCCH and WBNU went silent and froze... the WBNU tucked himself tightly against the tree trunk where he remained silent until the chickadees started vocalizing again.

Ongoing. I’d been to the location twice yesterday in the am & pm but there were no birds there at all. I was there this morning and it was the same thing, so I wasn't expecting to see it this time either. Only the pair of BCCH and 4 DEJU made a brief appearance about a half hour after I arrived.
