Sighted earlier by Roger J. Was looking for a hidden bird on the sidelines, when a larger bird flew over me. It looked like a woodcock (I've seen those fly during their mating dances) and it had a unique call I hadn't heard before. To me it was loud, but merlin didn't pick it up. I tried birdnet api which said a snipe about 50%. The call is faint on my sound recording, but I remember what it sounded like it sounds like the wilsons snipe calls on ebird
