Continuing individual first noticed by Bobby Brown yesterday. Bizarre bird that looks exactly like a Common Merganser and a Hooded Merganser were mashed together. Puffy head unlike the shaggy crest of a Common Merganser (when seen well and dry), bill intermediate between the two species, head generally the coloration and patterning of a Common Merganser, wings of a Hooded Merganser. Female-type.
