Note yellow spot on black bill, bill goes up to eye. The bill has a sharp turn at the lower end (the gape), which eliminates Trumpeter Swan as a choice.

Large white swan with all black bill with black patch to eye, larger than the nearby Canada Goose. Park in first parking lot on right on Capital Hills Drive after turning off Durant. Swan is in largest retention pond, north end, visible from the parking lot and gravel path.
