Lifer! Came out with the intention of trying to find one of these, although I didn't have much hope that a would. A pleasant surprise! A larger plover, smaller than a BBPL and quite a bit larger than a SNPL, with a golden plumage, no black armpits, and shorter primaries than an AGPL. Provided amazing looks as it repeatedly foraged in the driftwood from less than fifteen feet away.
