Male assuming breeding plumage. Remarks: One of those enigmatic birds - have a range from Sind all the way to Mynamar favouring river beds. The only site that the bird is known from reliably is the Temple area at Okhla in Delhi. The only other site I have ever seen this bird is at Harike in the Punjab. Now it is reliably being seen also at Wazirabad in Delhi. - ND. Date added to OBI: January 20, 2013.
