Juvenile. Remarks: It rained the night before. This juvenile was seen alone crouched on concrete floor side of building at about 0800hs still with eyes shut. Was the bird sleeping like this overnight and lost its parent or sulking away? The spiderhunter chick decided to open its eyes when it sensed my presence. Either it hadn't seen a human before to know fear or perhaps was feeling lost and remained still. - DO'N . Date added to OBI: December 22, 2010.
