Adult male. Remarks: Habitat: Vetiveria Chrysopogon zizanioides and Halfa Desmostachya Bipinnata grassland, commonly known in India as ‘Khus' and ‘Daabh', near the water body. Three birds in all (a pair and a lone male) were sighted, reportedly arrived on 26th July (Nasim WWF). While the ‘pair' was busy chasing each other, the ‘male' was very vocal in its song and dynamic circular aerial displays in overcast conditions. – GA . Date added to OBI: July 31, 2012.
