This is the bird we were hoping to see this morning. Heavy rain overnight is frequently good for grounding shorebirds at this location and today was no exception. We are getting towards the end of the window for this species in Western New York. Great looks through scope and bins. The bird was still present when we left. Sue Barth will add photos.
