***MEGA LIFER and ABA bird #700!!!, continuing. Sleek gray head and black back with white markings, obvious white flanks, especially while preening. Slightly arches back as if taking a big breath before diving. Stays underwater for up to 52 seconds at a time. Still present towards SW when I left but more difficult to see as waves and heat distortion began to get worse.
