*****RARE in Erie County***** From what I can determine, this may be the 4th county record. Quite cooperative young plover: orange-yellow legs, short, solid black bill. Couldn't be cuter! Leg bands included 1 orange on "ankle" of left leg, silver at top of right leg and blue on "ankle" of right leg. As per John Brett, the bands reveal this bird was hatched and banded this year in June at Wasaga Beach, Ontario.
