This bird was seen a ways from where we were standing and I tried to take some photos to ascertain whether it was a Russet or Ruddy-capped. Here are some photos that I sent to various experts of Mexican birds and they think it's a Russet. I wish eBird had a "nightingale-thrush sp." category for when the bird is not vocalizing and when we cannot see the bill or under wing coloration. Just a suggestion because neither Russet or Ruddy-capped are commonly seen here.
