Large Mallard sized duck with darker under body vs. female Mallard, yellow bill and dark bands above and below blue wing patch. Contrasting white underwing and brighter bill indicates male. Someone has left food for the ducks and geese by the looks of it, so they were flying back and forth between the food on the river bank and the open water. I waited until the ABDU returned to the open water and snapped a few photos.
