This adult Australasian Grebe is building its nest that is anchored to a small Flooded Gum in the shallows of Herdsman Lake in Perth, Western Australia. Brown Honeyeaters can be heard calling in the background. Elevation: 7 m. Date added to IBC: October 7, 2018.
