Temminck's Lark (Juveniles) 4. I recently encountered my first juvenile Temminck's Larks and was initially thrown by how different they appear compared to adults, which led to some confusion as to their ID. These videos show juveniles preening, looking for food, begging and taking food from an adult, as well as interacting with each other. I hope the videos help others to avoid the confusion I faced when first trying to ID them as what actually was happening between them and an obvious adult Temminck's was ambiguous through the view finder and only clear once I had a chance to watch the videos on my laptop.
