Calls from a bird apparently mobbing a mink in brushy vegetation along the edge of a small patch cattails along the lake shore. Soft, hissing scolds interspersed may have also been from this bird.

*Uncommon and unexpected. First detected by twisting scold calls, but out of place right along lake shore in a patch of cattails at 2776 Lower Lake Rd. Soon got visual confirmation as it flitted around in edge of cattails and small brushy vegetation, scolding a mink!
