Apparent third-cycle bird found by Scott Shaw yesterday. Mantle appears considerably paler today in bright light. Looks to be only slightly darker than nearby Laughing Gulls, apparently making it the northern race, L. o. occidentalis. We suspect this may be the bird found in Port Aransas Oct. 2018, which was in 2nd winter plumage.
