NOTES: Calls of two birds foraging in forest understory right near stream crossing along Sendero Palo Gordo about 3/4 km. above base clearing; birds were in constant motion, initially 2 m up in understory but later as high as 10 m; although the understory was relatively dense, the mid-levels were much less so; I tried some ÒspishingÓ between the first and second parts of the cut, but response was minimal. Other Behaviors: Establish Flock Contact, Mate, Social Context: Family. Habitat: Cloudforest, Evergreen Forest, Stream, Canyon.
