NOTES: An assortment of calls and call notes. Probably two birds. [As far as I can determine, this recording contains calls of both Porphyrula martinica and Gallinula chloropus. It begins with a "Cackle" by Gallinula (0:13-0:195). This is followed by trumpet-like "Chip" Calls (0:20-0:25), a series that I suspect is a "Grunt" (0:39-0:44), and then a "Cackle" (0:47-0:53), all by Porphyrula. The series at 1:00-1:06 appears to occur during an interaction between two Porphyrula, one giving a Grunt and the other a Cackle. Finally, the last two Cackles are those of Gallinula (1:07-1:11, 1:24-1:285). Terminology follows BNA accounts.
