We started watching at 512 MacMillan Dr at 8:10 AM NB time. Peter Gadd and a Colorado USA birder were already there. 9 BOWA appeared first on the Spruce tree to the left of the house; briefly they fed in the Mountain Ash trees and flew around coming back a couple of times. The Mistle Thrush appeared, from the Spruce tree, and sat on the Birch branch for 30 secs, then if flew back into the Spruce Tree and sat in the open quietly while snow covered it.( Some pics and videos were taken: see below) It was motionless for a few minute then it moved to a different spot on the Spruce tree and sat motionless for a few more minutes. Briefly it came to the Mountain Ash Tree around 9:05 Am, and flew SE across the street to some Ash trees between Macmillan Dr and Hillside Dr where we observed it from MacMillan near the fire hydrant on the east side; as well, we went to 515 Hillside Dr where it was observed feeding in the backyards. We left around 9:50 am having observed it (on and off) for 1 hour and 10 minutes!! Hates Waxwings. It seems to be territorial and jealous of its food source.
