Despite Merlin flagging one of the photos as a Bell's Vireo this was without question a Gray Vireo. First off it was large, robust with a robust bill compared to the smaller and more active Bell's Vireos seen a day or two earlier. After briefly loosing track of it, playback calls and songs of Gray Vireo brought this one back in and was clearly agitated and responsive.
