Wow!! Surprising bird, walked in from parking lot along 55th street. Small gull like bird gray back black on tail with white face black smudge behind eye with yellow bill. Smaller than the nearby ring Billed Gull, but larger than a Bonaparte gull. Smudging to uniformed for short billed gull. Yellow bill and black smudge clearly seen through scope and bins.
