Bird in thick vegetation by the ditch, frustratingly not seen. Recorded. Laurie was pretty sure it was this species, but I (Ruth) am not familiar enough with it to make the ID until I went through the recordings of calls from possible alternative species in Macaulay Library, and this was the closest match.
