This gull appeared intermediate in size between a ring-billed and herring gull. Extremely pink legs. I thought it might be the Thayer's Gull found by Ant Taboada last week, but it seems that the gonys spot on the bill is too large for it to be the same bird. In the absence of conclusive field marks in these pics, I'll leave it as Larus sp. for now.
