Great find by Kevin McKereghan and Tera Freedman. When I arrived everyone had left having refound the bird and it had flown off. But in the sinking sun, totally against the light Aaron Maizlish somehow refound a rock sandpiper shape. The bird remained sleeping for around 30mins but a group of us managed to get a few photos against the light and some flight shots. Has broad white wing stripe dorsally, extensive white on underwing.
