Apparent immature male. Along the west side of the central dividing wall at the south end of the reservoir. Resting at first, then diving actively. Pale reddish head like that of female but with hints of darker coloration, probably little patches of adult male greenish coloration coming in. Body plumage mostly like that of adult male, but more muted and scruffy-looking.
