LIFER!!! Compared to Canada goose: smaller, stubbier bill; shorter neck; steeper forehead; much smaller in size, size similar to mallard. There are possibly two cackling geese. Two photos show two geese that both appear to have features of cackling geese, short neck and bill, but one is considerably larger than the other. This is pointed out in the media notes for the two photos.
