Heard them before I saw them even with the ear flaps down on my winter hat! Dropped everything to locate the source of the sound and then scrambled for my camera, which was still in my handlebar bag. They were heading S over the east side of Hunter Island, then continuing S over the beach and out of sight. County lifer!
