Male finishing molt into adult plumage. Wigeon with dark rufous head and buffy yellow forehead. Lighter rufous breast transitioning into gray sides and flanks. Gray back with dark centered tertials with white edges. Caudal flanks white and upper and lower tail coverts black. Tail gray with lighter edges. Gray bill with black tip and nostrils.
