Bird at the inlet end of reservoir, stood on its own (Fortunately as 100's Golden Plover present. Stationary whilst I viewed it and then went to sleep. Good scope views in a dull light. The supercilium was clear to see and the shape of a stubby bill. A grey bird, certain no golden plumage, more likely to be confused with winter plumage grey plover but didn't appear as robust or long legged as a Grey Plover.
