Smaller than nearby Orange-crowned Warbler. I watched it briefly, then ran to get camera. Got a couple photos before it flew out of the yard. Very pale, nearly whitish below and gray above; with white from bill to eye and continuing to form ring around back of eye; rusty colored patch on upper tail coverts (more visible in the otherwise out of focus photo), and less distinct rusty patch on crown.
