Amazing to see this (hopefully) hardy little alcid, with better views than I had in Nfld! Bobbing around like a cork, I didn't see it dive. Black above, bright white below extending up behind eye, with chunky, blunt bill. Elegant thin white line on wings. Mostly facing away, into the blustery wind. First reported on iNaturalist on Nov 1st.
