FRGU is in center behind leucistic LAGU. Note short bill, extensive eye arcs, more white on primaries.

**rare** continuing. Small gulls similar to LAGU but with much more extensive black on head, shorter bills, and bolder white eye arcs. Associating with LAGU, most of which have completed their prebasic molts by now and are much paler-headed. One seen near Calhoun St. bridge, another further downriver on sand spit towards Trenton Makes. Pics.
