Continuing with Forster's on concrete beyond pier. Got a good look with bins but people throwing crab traps startled all the terns and they flew. White forehead with black cap extending down nape of neck (Forster's had blackish oval eye patches and some of them had lighter gray on nape). Dark carpal bar and showed dark leading edge on inner wing when wings lifted (Forster's didn't have this). Slightly smaller/slimmer than Forsters. Waited and eventually several, including Common, returned for their photo op.
