KG2501 seen feeding on numerous crabs out in the open, picking them up and removing their appendages before picking away at the bodies. Occasionally chased by young pacific gull. All the gulls then rested for 10-20 minutes before KG2501 attempted another kill. KG2502 then tried to intervene but seemed to be trying to scavenge, leaving room for KG2501 to do the hard work before taking over. All birds then flew a further ~150 metres south at 0949 which concluded the observation
