Conservative estimate of a large flock of them between Park Ave and 3rd Ave, from 78th to 80th street. Very vocal and hunting insects for abotu 10-12 minutes in some lovely looking flocks, against a vivid and brilliant orange-pink cloudy sunset. The swift-nado funneled down towards a building at Park and 79th, as usual. Very vocal. Poor quality cellphone pics. Estimate and photo detailing the count results graciously provided by Ben Cacace.
