Juvenile observed for 15+ minutes in often good light (including sun behind observer) at 100-150 m with Questar 40-64x. Obviously larger than adjacent LESA but smaller and less bulky than nearby PESA. Elongated appearance, usually horizontal posture, horizontally flattened body. Wings obviously extending beyond tail. Short straight black bill. Black legs. Scaly brown upperparts, buff-brown breast with streaks, remainder of underparts unstreaked whitish. Not seen in flight. Poor distant photos.
