Unreal. Continuing first lower 48 record. Seen around 1800 hrs for a few minutes in the parking lot south of the marsh, and then not seen again. Beautiful little gem. Overall dark, blurry/streaky breast and flanks, tiny bill, thin white eye ring, white partial collar, long pp, lightly streaked untacs. Presumably nominate M.s. sibirica (highly migratory ssp.), and a HY bird due to extent of buffy/light coloration in tips of the median and greater coverts as well as tertial edges; some photos by others show white spots on the uppers. So sick!
