After watching the spot where Owen found it earlier this morning (35.5306980, -106.7578401) for about 30 minutes we finally had luck when it emerged from the reeds, first at 10:14 and then again at 10:23. Each time it was visible for only a minute, and stayed very close to the reeds. Heavily striped wader with brown back. Decent photos.
