Continuing rarity, the bird came out of the cattails at 5:35am, I watched the bird for about 40 minutes, found on the left side of the near shore from the observation area. The bird was methodically feeding by picking food items off the foliage in and around the water, at one point it found a Bullfrog carcass and started pulling and eating chunks of meat off it.
