The two kites first appeared at 8:06 am. They both collected sticks and made quick forays to the nest, where they stashed the sticks nearby. Eventually, one of them stayed at the nest and wove the selected sticks into the nest. Per a neighbor, these birds are only easily found in the morning as they leave the area in the afternoon.
