Continuing rarity. Large gull, w black back, black wings. It flew in (finally at 12:05 pm, interacting and calling with its HEGU mate who had been on the nest. Kelp then rode atop the HEGU for what seemed a minute trying to balance in the gusty winds. They were done and the Herring walked off and the Kelp flew off. Only got to watch the Kelp for 6 minutes. Poor digiscope photo taken.
