I take the activity below as evidence of second broods in some of the boxes. Box #1 had full next which had been used. Now empty. Box #2 was taken away. Stolen? The mounting pole remains. (This is the first mischeif to the boxes.) Box #3 nest-building was going on. Box #4 had full nest which had been used. Now empty. Box #5 had chicks -- nearly fledged. Box #6 contained eggs with adult swallow attending.
